Parameters

Abrasion class The abrasion resistance of glazed tiles is marked with the numbers from 1 to 5. The higher the class, the more resistant the tile is to abrasion. Applications of the individual classes: 1 – locations where we walk barefoot or in soft shoes; 2 – low traffic intensity (bathroom); 3 – low and medium traffic intensity (bathroom, kitchen, living room, hall, terrace); 4 – moderate traffic intensity; 5 – high traffic intensity (shopping centers, corridors).

Slip resistance Some locations, such as terraces and staircases require anti-slip tiles to be used. The higher the R factor, the better the anti-slip properties. R9 through R13 classes are used. Structured surface tiles offer the best anti-slip properties.
